I'm looking forward to some good info trading here. We had some real difficulty in getting SUS to work on our test domain. After some wrangling we finally got it working and it's now on our production intranet. We're looking forward to some of the nice additions to WSUS and are hoping that we don't run into any further complications when we migrate the SUS server up. --tdwilli

Using WSUS 3.0 SP1 on Virtual Machine with Server 2003. It has been functioning fine all along until recently when I launch the update services from my workstation. I get the message below. I have checked and made sure that Network Service has full control of all of WSUS folders and all Program files to no avail... Please help.
The WSUS administration console was unable to connect to the WSUS Server Database. Verify that SQL server is running on the WSUS Server. If the problem persists, try restarting SQL. Hi my name is Sameer.
I working in PSC. Currently I hv WSUS installed on 200 server and working absolutly perfect.
Now my management want to shift /move this WSUS (HP) to the new server which has a different name. So pls anyone can guide me step by step how to move all the database, settings and configuration to new server which got diff name & hardware (IBM xSeries).

WSUS on W2K Server SP4 (and all other patch at today)
In the reporet page, the State of patch KB893756, KB899588 and KB896727 is NECESSARY but the EVENT DETAILS give Correclty installed with error code 0x00000000.
Is it possible to clean/correct DB?
